Why the Books Keep Moving
Visitors sometimes notice that the books on the studio table are never in quite the same place.
That isn’t because we’re trying to organize them.
It’s because the questions change.
Some weeks the desk is covered with developmental psychology.
Other weeks it’s philosophy, neuroscience, education, or design.
The books migrate toward whatever question currently refuses to leave us alone.
Right now, many of them circle a common theme:
How do people become curious?
Not curiosity as entertainment.
Curiosity as a way of meeting uncertainty.
One book might offer a developmental perspective.
Another explores prediction and perception.
Another asks what education is ultimately for.
None of them provides the complete answer.
Together they create a conversation.
That’s what the studio is becoming.
Not a place that collects information.
A place that brings different ideas into dialogue.
Sometimes the most productive hour isn’t spent writing.
It’s spent placing two books beside one another and noticing that they seem to be answering each other’s questions.
That quiet work rarely appears in finished articles.
But it shapes every article we eventually publish.
